Has anyone made an aftermarket P2 card yet?

edit: damn my spelling in the title is pretty bad! (I guess i'm into pictues not words)
 
no diy p2 cards out there, hovever fuji has said they would make them, but after holding my breath waiting I started to trn blue. they are not the first company to declare theemselves in the p2 kingdom, only to fall off the falt earth. Hoodman gave us all hope, then ssnatched it away, like holding a snickers bar in front of a starving child only to yank it away and yell zoinks.

would be rad to have a card that we could slide 4 sd into the side of, could have 32 gig for so cheap...

Why don't you just purchase Panasonic p2 cards?

Even Fuji indicated that its cards will be priced identically

i was talking to the owner of the studio where i rent gear, and he said the fuji and panny cards ultimately come from the same manufacturer, so they'll be the same thing. and since they come from the same place, makes sense they will be the same price.

They probably started the process when the Panasonic P2 cards were sold out everywhere, to try to alleviate some of the backlog and make some bank.
 
i have zero idea. just passing along what he told me a few months back. i brought up that it could lead to some competitive pricing, and he shot me down with that info.

oh well. have to keep paying stupid $$$ for p2 cards for the time being.
 
oh yea, i remember when they were selling out everywhere and stock was low.

they should give all the cool kids with the original model a 50% discount since we've been there since 4GB p2 cards costed a pretty penny. :)
 
my question is when will they be out, my bet is if they come out for more than pani's then they will not sale, and the price will drop.
