Hey,

I have a 4K timeline composition in After Effects, with 4K gh4 files. I click File - export - Render Que - H264 - 22bit. But whenever I render I get an error not enough memory during the render, and the render stops rendering. I have a pc with 16GB Ram and a SSD disk for caching. I never had this issue with 1080p, how can I solve this?

Thanks

Does it specify where there isn't enough memory? On the scratch disk? On the disk you're exporting to? My hunch is you may have selected a format that is too large to put on the disk you're exporting to.

Some screenshots of your error and what settings you're exporting with could help. imgur albums work.

It might be worth switching.. Edit - Preferences - Memory & Multiprocessing - Render Multiple Frames Simultaneously - OFF - good luck :)

Just covering the basis while I go on my search... Have you tried to restart your computer? Cache files can sometimes cause memory errors like this.

Yep already done that, changed cache to another SSD, export to another DISK 1,5 TB free disk space. Changed disk space cache swapping to 10GB. Nothing works so far. I just tried a render to 1080p. That does not work either.

Try rendering to an image sequence or uncompressed, and use adobe media encoder to do your final.

That's a good habit for files with long render times - you get a faster-rendering file that can be compressed to whatever you need for future uses. Sort of like having a master tape in the recording studio, y'know? And media encoder is often a better bet for H264, etc. vs. AE.

Ok I Purged AE, rendered again, nothing..
Then I figured it should be something with my grading. I deleted the denoiser plugin from my adjustmentlayer, and tada I got a 4K render...
