After Effects CS3 8.0.2 update available

Just in case anyone hasn't found the goodness yet, the AE 8.0.2 enabling native MXF support is now available via automatic update. Just go to Help > Updates in any Adobe app, and it'll pull down automagically.

It's not available on the website yet, so you'll have to plug-in your editing box.

out of curiosity, in what scenarios would i need to import mfx files into AE?

i use FCP to edit my footage.

Yeah, I usually edit first and then export tif files for CC. Maybe QT reference can work with this?

so why would you need to import your mfx files into AE? to do things like color correcting and adding effects before you do your editing?

i have AE CS3 i want to know what's the advantages.
