Affordable 4x4 IRND Filters

Been looking for good affordable 4x4 IRND filters and took a chance on these. You can get them in a set, or individually. I wanted to try one out before committing to the set. Happy to say I'm very pleased with the quality. They are made from Water White glass and exhibit great clarity and contrast. Here are some samples I took, without any color correction, just white balanced to a white card. Using the stock daylight 5600k setting the filter skewed a little green, but that's because the GH4 has some ir correction, so adding this on top of it makes the image a bit green. On a camera like the BMPCC, which has no IR reduction, they would probably be just right. As you can see though, it balances fine, and even without white balancing, it was easy enough to correct out in post. These are shot in direct sunlight coming through a window, with no fill to see how good the filter is with contrast.

Nice. I did some tests on my off-brand ND filters last year and ended up throwing some away. What some manufacturers call neutral should be criminal.
