AF102 vs F3 vs 5D mII vs Sony NEX at AFTRS 2 day course NSW Aus

AFTRS are holding a 2 day course covering the pros and cons of large sensor cameras. They will be comparing the AF102, the F3, the Canon 5D MII and the sony NEX cam.

Its on the weekend of the 26th, 27th of march, 9 am - 4 pm, plus 6 - 8 pm on Monday to review the weekends footage.

Location is AFTRS, fox studio in Sydney.

Cost is $900

Am I missing something? $900 to watch them compare cameras, 3 of which are in the sub $5k range.

I can understand the need for some DPs to know how to use a range of cameras... but the choices seem bizarre, especially the NEX cam.

Yeah seemed a bit steep to me. Also kinda lacking focus, more like a magazine comparison.

I'm thinking of doing my own comparison seminar, and I'm only going to charge $800.00 per person for 11 hours of conference time.
