C100: AF upgrade and macro lenses

How well does the C100 autofocus upgrade work with macro lenses? One of my favorite lenses is the Sigma 50mm 2.8 EX DG Macro, which does 1:1 macro. Any experiences using this lens with the AF upgrade, or does anyone know if the AF system works decently throughout the whole focus range of a macro lens?
 
I have the sigma 105mm macro - AF will only work wide open at 2.8 (as seems to be the case with all Sigma lenses). The af is not as responsive as with Canon lenses although for macro work you'd be better off in manual anyway
 
I use it with my 105L macro and it works extremely well, about as responsive and accurate as my other L glass which is great!
