C100: AF speed control

I was recently watching a c300 mkii video where the guy was talking about different speeds of focus pulling with this setting.

Why does the c100mkii not have this option? Sure.... Its an older camera. But why couldn't they add this in a firmware update? It seems illogical the fact it can focus extremely fast, but not let us change it to slightly slower settings....

Is canon on these forums to have a think about it?

The last firmware update and the upcoming one on ~28th July both only add support for lenses.

I think it's highly unlikely we will see any other camera features in the future, as Canon probably sees it as a mature product.

I don't see any reason why that feature couldn't be included in a MKIII though, as it seems like it would be a purely software delay to slow down focusing.
