AF-S Nikkor 35mm f/1.8G DX Lens + Novoflex F Mount Adapter?

I am looking for a good fast portrait/indoor shooting lens (stills+video) for my GH1. There are a lot of 50mm lenses out there, but I think that the 100mm equivalent it becomes on the GH1 is a little too much zoom for practical indoor type shooting.

The AF-S Nikkor 35mm f/1.8G DX Lens and Novoflex F mount looks appealing. Does anyone have any experience with this lens? This lens lacks an aperture ring thus the Novoflex is a required accessory. If not can anyone recommend a good, and affordable fast portrait lens (f2 or lower) for the GH1?

I know the novoflex is pricey for an adaptor, but the ability to swap newer lenses, that invariably lack an aperture ring is appealing to me, and opens up a much larger lens selection. As such I view that purchase as an investment...although I will wait until they are out before I (and my wallet) make the final verdict.

Thanks in advance.

Just a quick note, I spoke with Cieco7 about the aperture control option on his line of adapters and he said he will be releasing his own very soon for around 100 US$. It was a about 2 weeks ago that he said it would be released in 2 weeks so fingers crossed it's soon as I am waiting for the Fmount option also. In regards to quality, the people here have had nothing but good things to say about the adapters lacking the aperture control so we can hope this will continue for all subsequent models.
