Lets not forget there is plethora of other lens mounts that result in beautiful images. I for one have a complete set of M42 Chinon's...beautiful soft images. Also, I got an small army of medium format Bronica ETRS...those lenses are real pleasant to the eye...soft and subtle...medium format though...heck but they work.
I like the 35, 50, and 85, and then you need a wide. Some like the 21, some like the 25, some like the 28. I think there are people who don't like the 25 because it's not the fastest, so maybe the 21?Hey Barry, which 4 or 5 CP's you think are the must have's for the AF-100...and if you already covered this subject somewhere else could you direct me to it? Thanks
I'm interested in seeing the results from these lenses too, I've got a full set of them from the 35mm adapter days. I've also got a full set of EF glass for my 7D so I could use either on an af100 but the aperture control of my FDs would be nice.
My five CPs…
21mm
28mm
35mm
50mm
85mm
this seems like an unnecessarily negative post - do you have some grudge against people using fd lenses on the af100?
Well then I apologize, it was not meant to be negative and I have no grudge against them, in fact I have never tried them because of the compatibility issues.
I use FD's more than my EOS (with Redrock adapter) and I would highly recommend the Novoflex. It's several times the price of the aforementioned adapters, but it's worth the price. I had the low-cost Fotodiox, and had it stuck to a lens for quite a while. Same thing with another inexpensive adapter.
Novoflex!
