AF 100 = no 1080 60p TM700 = 1080 60p @ $800, curious..

I actually was a little amazed by the TM700 for its price. There is a comparison video vs. GH1 and some other camera, and the TM700 looks better in almost all situations, particularly low light and firelight.
A video camera should look better than a stills camera, when shooting video. That shouldn't be a surprise. :) The GH1 does the shallow DOF that the TM700 can't do, but in terms of raw sharpness and overall image fidelity, the TM700 of course should look better.

Anyone have the scoop on what MANUAL CONTROLS this offers, and its pros/cons?

The manual controls are all accessed via the touch screen. There is a little flyaway tab that brings up the 4 main adjustments. - Focus - WB - Shutter - Iris - The lens is F1.7 wide open and shoots beautiful images throughout the aperture range. I was actually pretty surprised at the shallow depth of field you could pull off with a 3-6 stops of ND in daylight.. I was even more impressed by the near noiseless images at any NON-gain setting..

If I were to shoot a narrative on DSLR's I'd use THREE : )

TM700 = All 1920X1080 slow-mo stuffs, All wide deep depth of field establishing shots or pretty much anything that's W I D E.
GH13 = All Daylight or 320iso or less Medium or C/U shots
5D2 would be used for anything that the GH13 needs to go above 320iso, Also Medium and C/U shots..

I'll post some shot's taken with the TM700 shortly : )

I haven't been able to play with the TM700 too much but I'm finding that it's not very difficult to pull off some mildly zoomed in FOV with a nice bit of bokeyy action goin on..

I see you've created a "Scarlet" 3 camera shooting package... I like your thinking!

It's all I can do to keep from scratching the walls till my fingers bleed : ) It's a very functional pacakage. The 5D2 is also going to function as a glorious STILL camera on production!
