AF-100 frame rate hack

is the frame rate hack possible with the AF100 to allow speeds below the included 12fps? I'm trying to film something at 1 or 2fps with a long shutter like I used to on my HVX170. I realize that there's an intervalometer on the AF100 but it doesn't allow for slow shutter speeds to give me the streaking that I'm looking for.

anyone know?

I tried to drag the shutter and wasn't able to do it so I switched to DSLR's for that streak look in a time lapse.

just discovered that if I switch the camera to 'video cam' as opposed to 'film cam' I have shutter speeds down to 1/2. 1/2 combined with intervalometer at 1 fps is exactly what I need.

This is really helpful! Like Eric i use my GH2 for timelapse generally but in a bind this is a great alternative when i cant get that set up or need the ND and know its going to be static. Thank you!

If you'd of read Barry's book you'd know this! ;)

I much prefer DSLR's for time-lapse though as you can shoot super high res and crop in.
