advice or perspective on setup

I have a C100mkII - 17-55,24-70, & 70-200 - I also have a GH5 with an Olympus 20 for my Ronin Gimbal. There are occasions where it would be nice to have two cameras in the same brand family so I have considered the following;

-sell all the canon gear, buy GH5s, a 42.5, Oly 85, & maybe a Oly 12-40 Pro.
or
-sell the GH5 kit & buy a 90d with a sigma 18-35 for my gimbal

I understand quite a few of the tradeoffs in these scenarios - just wondering what other pros think.

Thanks!

I don't know what's best for you and your work, but FWIW do consider that the 90D's 1080p is worse than your C100's, so you'll have to shoot in 4K for the best quality (in which you'll max out at 4K/30p).

what Ronin gimbal are you using?
why not getting a second C100ii? They are sold used on Ebay at ± 1,500€

I second the idea of two C100s. They are inexpensive and will match up perfectly. This was my go-to setup for almost five years.

I'm using the Ronin S and there are limitations with the C100 on that gimbal because of it's height (can't under sling) - perhaps I should look into another gimbal?

that depends very much of the work you do. I used my Ronin 1 a lot with the FS7. But over the time my work has moved more to r&g and I do not find the time to set up the Ronin with the C300. It depends on your budget too. I'd probably keep the GH5. VLog and CineD can be easily matched.
