Advice on picking a decent tv to edit on

Hello all,
I was hoping someone could suggest a good television to use to view footage on while editing; I'm currently using my computer monitor but I'd love to have the footage on a larger screen. I'm shooting with a dvx100a, editing with Vegas. I know a dedicated monitor would be best, but they look way to expensive for me, and I was hoping someone might suggest a somewhat affordable television. Thank you

try sony trinitron (crt) tv. my friend has one and it has amazing quality IMO. u will have to properly calibrate it though. (google how to colour calibrate crt tv's)

Thank you guys very much for the information. I checked out your suggestions as far as the sony monitors go. I was wondering which of these two you think would be better. (I have no experience with monitors; I would imagine the sony would be considerably more accurate, but the flat screen is twice the size...)

The Sony. The other is not a broadcast monitor.

A couple others:

Not much time left on this one, but a great deal: http://cgi.ebay.com/Sony-PVM-20L2-2...emQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item4a9caf728d
