Advice on lens adaptors

Hello. Fairly new around here and also to the world of HD so excuse me if I ask any REALLY stupid questions over the upcoming weeks.

Basically, I'm very very close to purchasing a XH-A1, but before I do I'm trying to get an idea of how much the total package will cost. Can anyone recommend a telephoto lens, a good wide angle and if possible a fish eye lens (all using the 72mm thread and are, if possible, reasonably affordable?). Also, can anyone recommend a macro lens also (again, 72mm and affordable). I've been looking at Raynox and Century lenses so far, just wondering which was the best for the Xh-A1 and if there are any others out there I may not know about.

I'm hoping now that the camcorder has been available for a couple of months there will be some more concrete opinions on the lens adaptors? I'd really appreciate some help!

I have the Canon WD-H72 WA adapter. It brings the wide to about 25-26mm (35 equivalent) It's fairly good for the money ($500) but there is some barrel distortion. It doesn't bother me that much because it's fun to use, but if you're looking for perferction from a screw-on adapter...it'll be tough to find.

I'll post some shots using the adapter later on.

does the hood vignet w/the WA ?? If it doesn't that might explain Canon not utilzing the bayonet ...

'Ow about Raynox?

'Ow about Raynox?

I was also thinking about the Canon WDH72 wide angle - but they don't seem to be available here in the UK yet.

Has anyone had any experience wth the Raynox HDP-9000EX High Definition 1.8X Tele Lens and/or the Raynox HD-FXR180 PRO 180° Wide Angle Fish-Eye Lens? I know they were designed "specifically for the Sony FX1 & HVR Z1" but the threads are 72mm as is the XH-A1 - so in theory they should work fine right?
