T2i Advice on Buying a monitor ASAP

I only have a few days until I leave for vacation. I need to purchase a monitor as soon as possible. Less than a week.

I'm looking at getting one of these:
- Marshall 7"

For the Liliput, what are my battery options? - Also something cheap;
- I need something with a long cable running from the monitor to the back of my rig where the battery would be.
I would either velcro te batteries to the back or find a way to mount them on.

i found 2 tekkeon batteries for $100, they power the monitor all day.

I bought 2 of these months ago for my 7" Lilliput monitor... have only ever used one. The darn things last Forever!!

Have you looked at the 5" Marshall? Just got one a few days ago at its very nice for the price. I've gone the lilliput route before and the difference between that and a pro piece of equipment is vast, IMO.

Still havent bought the monitor as I was away for a week.

I looked at the 5" Marshall and its too small. 7" is the perfect size.

I wasnt intending to use it for that. There were specials going around because of the holidays and wanted to get one before I left.

I use the Lilliput. When I got it from Car computer in the UK there was an option for matching 12v batteries, I think 2 of then came to about £45, say $70-ish. They're rated 4hr each which is conservative, and the lead is long enough to reach my trouser pocket with the cam hand-held.
