Adobe CS 3 Production Premium Released

AVI, MPEG2. You can bring other formats into Encore CS3 but MXF files are not one of them. With a PC platform just use Raylight or CineForm then send your (edited) file to Encore. I have no experience with MAC and CS3.
 
I have CS3. OnLocation is only capturing HD from the firewire at 24p. I don't want 24p, I want 30p and 60p.
 
If you're using Raylight, for slowmotion I would suggest shoot 720/60P and then use RayMaker to slow it down to 24P or 30P (whatever your edit timebase is). That is a perfect slow motion effect. Then if you need it further slowed use 50% or 33.33% normal speed in the editor, or better yet use a AE plugin like Twixtor to make motion-vector inbetweens. 60i (as opposed to 60P) for slow motion is potentially troublesome because of the interlaced scanning.
