C100: Adjusting gain for each XLR input independently

I'm starting to look at the C100 as an upgrade from my current camera, and I was wondering about audio gain. When filming and riding the audio gain, are there separate controls for each channel or is there just one control for both XLR inputs? Also, can you turn on phantom power to each XLR separately, or is it just ON/OFF for both?

My audio setup includes a boom mic which requires phantom power, and lav coming though a Sennheiser G3 receiver which does not (and should not) receive phantom power. I'm hoping upgrading to the C100 will help deal with some of these day-to-day annoyances...

Thanks!

Each of the XLR is independent for gain, 48P, line/mic level, and internal/external mic input. The C100 is perfectly set-up to run both a G3 and a shotgun. Riding the gains, however, is not much fun due to the tiny thumb wheels on the C100.

Thanks so much for the info. Too bad about the thumb wheels. All that makes me think about is shaking the image while I fumble for the gain wheel. But great to know they're independent.

+1 on CPreston's reply - you're in for a treat.

However, where the C100 comes unstuck is when you want your single mic going to both channels, one channel turned down a bit (-18 dB) just in case something loud happens (cough, laugh, emphasis, etc). My other cameras could do this, the C100 does not.

Get yourself a mixer. I have a Mixpre D and I'm loving it! Great limiter, great preamps, proper knobs.

For when I have my single mic going to both channels, one channel turned down a bit for safety..I use a XLR Splitter female to duale male. Some might argue it can degrades the audio but i have not noticed anything accept i have an extra safety track.
