So, as everyone knows the color accuracy on the C100 is horrible, does not compare with the fairly accurate screens on DSLRs. I have found this to be a problem in situations where I am unable to use a monitor, I end up trusting auto white balance, choosing tungsten or daylight and hoping for the best, or randomly picking some kind of kelvin temp inbetween.
The problem is that if i'm in a heavily tungsten lit room and I get the balance correct it looks blue on the c100 screen, but when viewed on a proper monitor it looks correct. Certain scenes can also look white balanced, but are infact very much orange tinted because of the lights, and the screen just doesn't reflect that.
Is there any way to adjust the screen color so we can have something that's a little more accurate? Some kind of color shift option or anything? And if not, how do you get correct balance in a situation where you can't have a monitor, and I can't pull out a card to balance with. I work in situations where I run from inside to outside very quickly and there's no time for set up.
Thanks,
