Congratulations to all the filmmakers, crew, and actors that entered AdFest. This was really an outstanding group of films. I had many PM's from users wringing their hands over having to pick only three films. I have to agree and I've been screening your spots for a lot of people who're impressed with both the technical quality and the great writing. I'm thinking we should have done AdFest a long time ago, and they'll definitely be a Son of AdFest. We only give out a few awards, but many of the films that aren't specifically mentioned still blew us away and look broadcast-ready. They were all really a joy to watch and you guys...rock.

I want to thank our generous sponsors for donating the prizes for AdFest. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will receive the following packages.

Thanks everyone, and congrats to everyone else as well! Obviously thanks to the sponsors and organizers as well, I know how hard that can be.

Looking forward to hearing what the next big thing is on Monday!

Kudos Doug. Nicely done!

I've learnt a lesson. My next project will involve film, zombies, explosions and sex. How about exploding zombies having sex? All in beautiful Technicolor.

anything with zombies gets extra credit. :)

but i am surprised your film wasn't in the top 3, dmitry. i thought it was unique and well done.

Excellent fest! Very flattered to have placed considering the company this forum keeps. Many thanks to everyone for their feedback! Many many thanks to the mods and sponsors that put this thing together. And, of course, massive congratulations to all the participants. I'm highly anticipating the next round!

So I've got to apologize to the community at large ... I didn't vote. My weeks have been buried, and I only got through the first 1/2 of the films the night they became available ... then got side tracked.

I went to go watch them on Thursday afternoon, thinking I'd get my vote in by that night, and then saw that voting had closed by 3pm PST that day. So I not only didn't get to vote, but I still hadn't watched them all (afterall, what was the rush by that point?).

So I just watched Zoidoid's with my wife, and HOLY COW that was amazing!!

I also though DougSpice's was really well done too of course, as well as many others in here ... and now of course have to finish watching them all.

But I've just got to say, this had some incredible production value & writing in these things, and I can't wait to see some of these same players in a longer film format!

Great job all, and thanks to the sponors, Mods, DVXuser as a whole, etc. for a great fest & continued support for filmmaking.
