Adaptimax discount promotion on adapters

Hi Just came across this post. I am about to purchase a Nikon adapter for my AF100. Considering the Adaptimax Plus. Was wondering how fine is the aperture adjustment with the screw adjustment knob? To go from f 2.8 to f4 for example is that part of a turn of the screw or several turns? Will be using Nikon G lenses. Many thanks.

There is no way to really quantify that, but it is very finely adjustable...but you don't know what the aperture is with any of them. So while it gives super fine tuning, it isn't easily repeatable without marking the screw somehow. So the best way is to just look at the image on a monitor that lets you see what the image looks like and go from there...

Yes you are right, there's no way of accurately telling what the aperture is, you just have to use your eye. With the screw the thread is fine so you can tweak the iris very finely.
Don't forget there is a 10% discount code on here for DVX users on all Adaptimax products. Just enter "10percentdvx" at checkout and you will save on your purchase. This is valid until 18th June.

Hi, Steve
Come on, you can continue, don`t be defeated by cheapie.
My business is harder than you but I still standing.

The great thing about the adaptimax plus is that it will allow you to use any nikon lense whether it has an iris ring on the lense or not. This has saved me alot of money.
