adapter

I have several OM lenses from my Olympus 35mm cameras, so I picked up this adapter off eBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/Olympus-OM-lens...ItemQQptZLens_Accessories?hash=item2ea71ba656

Olympus-Zuiko OM lenses are nice...and Olympus is well known for their optics. There should be quite a few OM lenses available on eBay. They also have an aperture ring on the front, which makes them perfect for micro-4/3 adapters.

However, since they are full-frame lenses meant to go on 35mm cameras (2x crop), about the only one I use is a 50mm f1.8, for "detail" shots at weddings (cake, guest book, crap like that) and some candid shots of people from a distance.

But otherwise, if Panny would have made the new m-4/3 45mm f2.8 FASTER....I'd have gladly dropped the adapter and paid the $900 for the lens. I'm one of those that happens to think AF-S and auto-ISO can be a very good thing for run-n-gun event work. :) But f2.8....for $900???? They could have done better...at least f2. :(
