GH13 Adapter quick question. Help?

I don't have the money for a Zoom H4n so please don't suggest it, but I do have a RODE VideoMic I've been using. I ordered a 2.5mm (male) and 3.5mm (female) adapter from Amazon and it doesn't seem to work on my GH1/VideoMic. I really need an answer as soon as possible, because I have a film shoot on Saturday.

It should be fine. It's a bit fragile, with wire that thin, but it SHOULD work.

From seeing other threads on this subject recently, the Hosa is the one that recommended most often

The cabled version is a good concept! Maybe as said before, be careful with the thin cable... If it breaks, go for the hosa then. Don't double buy for now.

The wire one just doesn't work for me. I tested it. I talked into the mic, tapped the mic, and then I unplugged the mic. Did the same. Same sound. No difference. So, yeah. I don't recommend the wire one at all, unless I got a defective one. Let's hope this Hosa one works. If not... then I don't know. rogar-KnockedOut(D
