Here it is. The thing I've been working on for 2 years now: My acting demo reel. At last glance, I've accepted that the final product is not what I imagined. However, I was/am very much a beginning student to cameras, camera technique, lighting, lighting technique, audio, video editing, color correcting and directing. Everytime on set not only was I the lead actor but also the main camera man, as no one knew the camera better than me. So while trying to perform as an actor the best I can, I was also tending to all the shots, setting up the lighting and audio as well as little bit of directing. Then it wasn't until post production that I was able to see whether or not my performance was adequate, and whether or not it served my expectations for the reel. When you add all that up there is a lot of room for errors. So even though I've shot over 20 scenes with multiple reshoots, when it comes down to it, if it's not good enough for my reel, it's not good enough for my reel.

To be honest, some of this stuff, I still feel is barely adequate for my reel but I have to move forward. I'll be mailing it out in the coming weeks, looking for an agent who highly values Demo Reels. I am also starting an intensive cold reading class next week, as well as, beginning Andrew Giordano Demo Reel 2.0.
