Action Comedy Feature with DVX

I hear what your saying, overall the thing that makes it stand out is it is more of a comedy than gangster film. I don't know if the trailer conveys that enough. Its about a guy who leaves the business world to become part of the chinese mafia.

Agree the trailer needs one more plot element evident besides being Ronin...the love interest? The old gangster meets the new gangster? And the acting of the young protagonist looks amateur -

however I think this really has something. It's got a vision, a scope - the big field with the two gangs, fight scenes looked good...someone here has talent. Keep shooting!

You can always have a career if you can make efficient straight- to-video violent gang movies that sell to asia and europe.

Within a few seconds, two different guys are hit so hard they flip. This is a specialized move that shouldn't be used more than once and only to show ultimate impact. You manage to make it look like an every day occurrence. One shot, that's built up, for the guy who's really got it coming. Bam! Maybe a little slow motion, followed by silence. Then it's memorable.

IS this Chinese versus japanese? I ask because I was wondering what Ronin, a Japanese term, has to do with Chinese mafia?

you gotta be kidding!!! Not to knock your film...it looks really cool, but it does NOT look like Super 16.
