I have spent the last 6 hours previewing music. Checked out ReverbNation, only found one band that has the style and feel I am looking for. Cool thing with them, they are from the same area this music is for. Emailed them through RN, and found them on FB too.

Hit up all the royalty free sites, out of all of those, only 3 songs that kind of fit.

What a pain.

Looking for "spaghetti western" type music for a show reel.

Anyone know anyone?

Thanks, I like to work with indie bands the most. They are hungry, they have fresh music/sound, and they want exposure (which I do everything to give them).

Good lesson about music usage: It Never Hurts To Do Your Research and Just Ask. Never use music of someone else's without permission.

Hey Doc, I feel for you man! I Hate Hate Hate having to choose music to fit the video I've just made. It's like I'm dreading finishing the video for that reason alone, on so many occasions. If I spend an hour looking for music, I am already in that mode where NOTHING sounds good period! I have to walk away, go hit a bucket of balls at the driving range or something. Then come back.

Sorry, I despise the canned stuff I have auditioned for the royalty free sites. No emotion. I like Indie Bands for this stuff.

I whistle along to A Fistful of Dollars all the time...but probably won't be taking that on the road!

I remember trying to whistle as a kid and being utterly terrible at it. Amazing that I don't even have to put any thought into being able to do it now.
