Achieving smooth slow motion in After Effects.

[semajha]

Is it possible to achieve super smooth slow motion in after effects or will I need to invest in another 3rd party software like twixter? I've tried slowing down a clip in Final Cut but the results weren't so good. If yall had the choice which software would yall prefer doing slow motion in?

after effects will do everything you need-assuming that youre shooting at 60p and conforming to 24 or 30fps

Twixtor for After Effects is tops
