Achieving 6 or 4fps on 7D remotely

Hi
Have a Satechi remote which works quite well for timelapse sequences on my 7D. For a current project I'd like to be able to shoot either 6 or 4 fps , .1 or .25 second intervals respectively. The shortest interval I can get with the Satechi remote is only 1 second.

Can anyone suggest a way of doing this short of taping the shutter down in fast burst mode?

I've never thought this would become a question, as I always assume that we can't go past the mechanical limitations of the shutter. 7D is designed to shoot at 8 or 3 FPS or in a non-burst mode, and a shutter lag, no matter how short, exists with all such cameras. All this means that you can't reduce the shutter interval to whatever split of second you choose at will.
