Did the AC90 get a smooth variable zoom rocker like the old DVC30 and DVC60 where a silky smooth start and stop can be performed and a slow creep to fast zoom..
Something the DVX and hmc150, ac130, ac160, hpx250, etc cannot consistently do?
It has been my experience thus far that the servo zoom rocker is far more smooth (start and finish) then previous comparable models. Having shot extensively with the HVX200 the last couple years that was one of the things that drove me nuts in that the start of a zoom was always a bit jarring and could never be done seamlessly, it always started abruptly. I was expecting much of the same with the 90 but was pleasantly surprised to see how much better it performs in that regard.
