AC90: AC90 2 Slots Function (Backup Recording)

Hey Everyone,

New to the forum and have to say a big 'ol thank you to all the helpful information I've gathered here over the past several months while on the camera research hunt!

Ok so on to the matter at hand... noticed a weird discrepancy today while shooting some test material with the 90. I had 2 identical 64GB SDXC Lexar Pro cards in the camera and had the camera set to the clone record function, but as I started shooting I noticed that slot A and B weren't displaying the same amount of remaining time. As slot A was showing "6hr 1mins" while slot be showed "6hr 4mins"
I should note that I formatted both cards, in camera before the shoot. I've yet to review the 2nd cards media yet but I did want to throw it out there and see if anyone else has seen this issue? Perhaps it was just a one off glitch?

Thanks guys!

There may be some hidden files still there, like I noticed if I deleted a photo I took there are hidden files left over. Just a thought.

Yes, or there could be a bad sector or two on one of the cards, and so the memory card's controller knows to mark that space as unavailable.

Thanks very much guys. I'm afraid this falls under operator error, had not formatted the 2nd card and it still had a few CR2 files from my 60D. Thanks again!

I was going to start a thread, but this is a good place to ask. If I am using a 64 gig card in slot one and a 32 gig card in slot 2 and recording on both cards, can I pause near 2 1/2 hours and change the second 32 gig card with another 32 gig card or do I need to shut the camera down? Can you pause the camera and change both cards and then resume filming?
