FYI - Correcting myself here, I noticed that the AC160 user manual explains I can only have up to 12 hours of non-stop recording, even using the relay recording function with multiple cards. So my earlier post is incorrect and I'll be editing it.
The only exception to this rule is the interval recording function (max shoot time for interval is 168 hours - or one week - but obviously it's not recording the full 24/30/60 fps that whole time).

Somewhat off-topic (here I go derailing my own thread), but I gotta say that it's going to be less and less useful to shoot in anything except PH mode with the increasing size of the SD cards and the fact that you can relay between two cards on here. With a 64GB card, you can get something like 6 hours of the highest quality on this camera, and with 2 64GB cards, you get 12 hours. After the 2nd card starts recording, you just replace the first one and now you're at 18 hours of continuous recording, and so on and so on. Even if you're just using 16GB cards, it's going to be 3 hours continuous between two cards, adding 1.5 hours every time you swap in a new card.
If you're doing a live video stream through the FireWire port (or if you know you don't need HD video), then DV mode is nice, but for everything else, it's just becoming unnecessary in many cases to try to save the space on the lower quality settings.
