1) Has anyone done a low-light test compared specifically with the HMC150? How much of a difference is there? A lot or just a little?

2) I, like many others experience the snap, crackle and pop when the HMC is recording high volume audio. Is this issue resolved with the AC130\160? (noting that the two models have different audio setup the 160 being uncompressed)

3) How much time does the large 5800 battery get you? At best, the large 5600 battery on a HMC gets you about 240 minutes.

4) How many minutes can you record to a 16GB class 10 card? Is it the same 99 minutes you have with a HMC?

Thanks

1. I personally think it is probably one stop better, but its personal observation, not scientific. Certainly the gain is very clean up to 12 db so you can get a very nice image in low light. (much sharper too)

2. have 130 and 160, but both can overload the audio, and have not found the 160 to be better recording PCM. However there is a -40 mic input level extra to the HMC so you can get a lower record level which will help with more control at the volume pot. BIG help with shotgun mics.

3. 3 hrs 15mins.

4. Same recording rate.

Cheers,

Vaughan
