AC plugin power possible? or only battery?

i don't yet own a gh1, but am curious whether i can plug in an AC power adapter for continuous and unlimited power supply.

i'm planning on doing a loooong timelapse and know that the battery will not last.
for those who have done some timelapse with this cam, how long does your battery last??
 
You can do this yes. The only downside is you cannot charge the battery and run off AC at the same time (the AC adaptor includes the battery charging component and it cuts off charge to the battery when running camera off AC.) Also, you have to replace the battery in the camera with the little end from the AC adaptor. The cable runs out a little door. This is pretty standard.

I would imagine that, because of liveview, it doesn't last nearly as long as a traditional SLR would if it's just sitting there.
