AC90: AC 90 Adjustable White Balance

Hi Barry Green, I bought your awesome book on the AC 90 and I have a question.

You mention on page 67 that the Chroma Phase and Color Temp adjustments have no effect when using pre set white balance settings, IE: 3200 or 5600.
My question is, do they work when using the new variable white balance feature in the AC 90 A ....???

I like the sound of being able to adjust to suit my preference but don't want to be stuck in auto white balance. Also, in a lot of environments it's hard to do a manual white balance on A channel or B channel.

The Color Temp functions most definitely wouldn't work with the VAR, because... basically, they're the same thing. Adjusting the color temperature by the VARiable feature lets you adjust the color on the red/blue axis, and that's the same thing the COLOR TEMP function does (although the VAR is more precise). So no, that wouldn't work.

The Chroma Phase, however should work even when the camera is in VAR white balance.
