Finally getting rid of my Canon XH-A1. I have read everything there is to read. I have used the Panny HMC40 for the past 2 years. I am looking at getting the AG-AC160A and the AC90 to use as a pair (AC90 wide shot - 160 close up). ANy thoughts or suggestions?

they are very different beasts- both excellent but the 160A is a far more flexible camera, equipped with a much more comprehensive range of professional controls than the 90 (built in ND filters for one). They are of course in very different price brackets too. But to answer your question, they will work together well.
cheers!

Since the 160 has superior low light capabilities, I would switch 'em and use the 90 up front where it can get more light, and where its smaller zoom would likely be better and use the 160 for the wide shot. Any chance you could swing a 160 / 130 combo instead?

Sounds good, I al,so think a 160/130 might be better as the camera will function the same for the most. both great choices, you will need to make a scene file that matches both so in post it wont slow youdown.
