Hi guys,

I've been browsing the forums for a while now, picking up nuggets of advice here and there, but I really need some help right now.

I'm about to buy my camera and have a budget of just about £2000 but have no idea what kit I should by, for now I've got access to a decent array of tripods through my university but that's about it.

If you guys could help that would be amazing, thanks in advance.

I just bought a 7D and a couple of lenses and am very happy with my purchase. I use both the video and still aspects of the camera. You can't get a video camera with these features at this price. Check out what Stu Mascowitz, prolost.com has to say.

my friend got one from here. 100% legit. They ship from Hong Kong, but have a VAT promise that they will repay you any VAT or import costs you incur.

my friend didn't have any VAT or import costs though. £1023 body only is pretty good.

import tax from the ones on ebay are about £150-£200
