When Sony announced the camera back in Feb, and a thread started, my first post, number two in the thread was " will it overheat.?" since then there have been dozens of posts regarding this issue. There are members of this group who have cameras from Sony to do reviews and tests. No solid information about why it overheats or if this is a "tough sh_t live with it" or if it is something that can be addressed. So why hasn't anyone of the testers or dealers who sell this camera and sponsor here, got real feedback from Sony?
It makes no sense to me. You guys who are on the Sony and other company gravy trains and post your reviews and expect us to take you seriously better get it together. Saying "I dunno, I don't shoot anything longer than 10 minutes" is a pretty damn lame cop out. Anyone who has ever shot any documentary footage will tell you that 10 minutes in is nothing. And the "if you want a camera that shoots longer than 10 minutes but a proper 4K camera" what a bs response that is. The A6300 is being sold as a stilll and 4K video camera, not a still and 10 minute 4K video camera. And it is that, well maybe a 20 minute camera, then the reviewers are even bigger dorks for not mentioning it here where people who make video hang out.
I dont know what happened with this camera, but now works like charm. No errors anymore after "gently punch" becouse of my nerves. Seriously
That only happened just after unboxing. Never again. I worked all day on the sun 30C+ with 120fps and all worked great.
So I hope that this error will never come back.
