a6300 - Can you use Eye Focus in Movie Mode?

[Bassman2003]

Hello,

I can not find a definitive answer on this. Can you use continuous eye focus while shooting video? This would be great for interviews with SDOF.

Thanks.

Edit - sorry, meant to type a6300

A5300 was not released yet.
Not even the rumoured specs.
Or I'm missing something?

[DLD]

I assume it's A6300.

Or Bassman is really Marty McFly.

So, does anybody know the answer? Everything I can find about eye focus is about photo usage. Thanks.

I'd like an answer too if anyone has one. I haven't had a ton of time to play with settings but like Bassman I can't find anything online or in the manual. I found face recognition but no eye-af

A person replied to me on DPReview and said no, only face detection in movie mode. Too bad.

I was guessing that as well, since I understand it's what the a7R II can do.
