A1 Workflow?

One thing I do when it comes to capturing is I capture the whole tape.
I then go into the file and split the file into new segments named accordingly by shot name and scene and such. It sounds like overkill or a waste of time but its much better than rewinding and fast forwarding your tape and scrubbing the tape a lot which will do some wear on your heads. I prefer splitting it digitally once its one big file instead of doing one by one with the tape in the cam.

Well I use FCP. Basically just run it on the canon easy preset. I always shoot to bars before cutting and make sure I use end search. This way FCP just cuts all my clips seperately for me.
