A1 vs. sony decks

So I understand the whole 24f can't play on sony decks and what not. My question however is, If I shoot in 24f on my A1, import into final cut, edit, and then capture to tape using my A1, is it still in an A1 only format, or does the FCP change it and i could watch it using another hd deck?

If you export it as 60i footage to the tape, then that could be played on Sony HDV gear.
