Does anyone else really wish the A1 had a manual lens rather than the electronic motor driven?
It's nothing that would make me want to sell my A1 of course, but one example is that I'd like to use the quicker zooms that I could get out of a manual lens for hardcore bands when I do music videos. There's a lot of hardcore bands out there now too. I know there are some plus sides to having a motor driven, but given the choice I'd choose the manual.
Also, does anyone feel that the zoom and focus preset on/set sliding button is really hard to engage without jarring the camera? I have a hard time with it and only use it under certain circumstances for this reason. I already didn't use the function very often which makes this feature very rare that I put to use.
