A1 lower rez as gain increases?

There's an Adam Wilt review of the Sony V1 here:

He writes about and shows pictures of the V1 lowering resolution as gain is increased. It looks really bad. Check it out. My question is does the Canon A1 do the same thing? Has anybody looked into this? Thanks.

nope, you should be fine with the a1.
