A1 for $999

Yeah stay far far away from this, there's no way it's true. I got my A1 from newegg.com , it's was pretty cheap there. I order from them all them time, amazing customer service.
 
Whats funny is that just about every outlet listed there on that reseller ratings page I have heard dodgy stories about.
 
This is what they do.

1st you order, they so-called call to confirm the order, tell you either we don't have that anymore ,you have to order a package that costs more that a A1 at Band H or they say you must have been looking on a non-American site and tell you the American version cost more that a A1 at B and H. You can argue for days they will not give you the item at that price. I found this out when I tried to get a cheap GL2 a while back. As soon as you say cancel the order they hang up and cancel the order. I short , don't wast a millisecond of your time on that garbage.
 
Don't worry, I just bought my 2nd A1 for the legit price of $3000. I knew this would be a scam joint and am trying to convince my tenant of than now :) That review site is great by the way, Thanks.
 
My favorite bogus seller is zoommania. They advertise a ridiculous price for the camera by itself, then have 3 worthless packages, the cheapest of which is the normal cost for the camera.

They used to say "out of stock" for the camera by itself, but now they are even sneakier. You add it to your cart, and everything looks fine, but when you proceed to checkout, it suddenly has an "error" and the camera is dropped from your cart. So you have to buy one of the packages. :grin:
