Hi Jim, as of now, we still have no idea how many cameras we are getting. I have heard rumors that it is under 10.

I will know how many when for sure, when I actually see them in my warehouse. :thumbsup:
 
That would be very depressing if you only recieved under 10. Damn..Very depressing. I hope Panasonic ups their orders. I wonder why they would ship so low. If I were Panasonic, which I'm not, I would hold out until we had an ample supply then ship

I worked for Epson America for 9 years, so I understand production. First, it's not easy to go from zero to full production on the first run. Every new product takes time to learn the best way of making it and where the potential QA problems will be. The first few production runs are small, because of the need to check and re-check that everything is turning out OK. Once production has taken care of any potential "kinks", then the numbers go up.

Panasonic could hold up the units until there's a large number, but when you have a HOT Product, why wait? Better to get a few units out there and generate lots of excitement and demand, than to hope that everyone will hang in there for a few months more.

Too bad about In-Sync and Razor... they burned their goodwill with me when I ordered my original DVX from them bundled with "Blade"... probably the worst piece of NLE I've ever seen... and they took forever to make good on the DVX shipment...

Yes we too are waiting for out WondaPanny! I will really be fun when we start seeing folks get the cameras and maybe post some footage.
