Indeed, that's AVCCAM straight from the camera,
That will shut up a few mouths. Great looking stuff guys. Thanks for your effort. Looking forward to the film.

Indeed, that's AVCCAM straight from the camera,
but what I really want to know is how it will hold up downstream of this. How will it look encoded to DVD, or encoded to Bluray and then projected nice and big on a screen. I wonder if that's actually where recording to Nano is going to hold advantages over the AVC, and differences seen.
It will look as good as any other production that was sourced from a pristine original, methinks.
That's a no brainer.
Yep.
I'm excited to see some shallow DOF shots in the feature because these deep DOF shots looks great.
?
There were several shallow DOF shots in the trailer:

That makes me so happy!Log & Transfer, Chris. Works like a charm.
If you have a Mac, take the mov open it in MPEGStreamClip, and click file>save as... And choose mp4. It'll repack it into mp4 without altering the video/audio data. And as far as the Quicktime .mov file on Vimeo playing straight without conversion on PS3, uh uh. It does not work to simply change the file extension to mp4, from .mov. It shows the file as "corrupt". (I have every single piece of test footage from the AF100 on there, so I've dealt with that by now). The only files that I've been able to have PS3 play without conversion were files posted and encoded as mp4.
And again, this stuff looks awesome, and totally cine, especially with the 2.39 aspect I added in Sorenson. Love that look.
I ment some serious shallow DOF!
