Quick and dirty contrast increase using Color Curves in Vegas. I like it, but the wife doesn't. :) Maybe play some more later on.

In the meantime, a sped-up video of it is available HERE (A little over 8 megs, 4 minutes long WMV...wiht a right-click option for Quicktime)

Thanks.

It looks "too green" to me...but that's actually what it looked like. :)

The video of it on the webpage is 25 minutes squished down to about 4, so the rays are moving.

Along with two birds and an airplane ruining everything. :( Nah... :)

I just wished I had gotten home sooner. From about 90 minutes before that was shot, there was some really...dramatic...stuff going on. Starting out with a blue blue sky with huge white clouds edged in brilliant white and darker clouds in front of them, nicely layered, then going down into what you see here.

But I was on the road. :( And would have had to take the laptop and captured it that way, since it went on for much longer than a single tape.

Or you could have done a time lapse and saved tape. Looks cool, I love catching sunsets. I'm not trying to steal your thunder or anything, but I caught this one a few weeks ago. I think I might have posted it with some other grabs, so If you have seen it already sorry. Maybe some other users could post some of their sunsets to, could be cool.

Ooooo, pretty. We had another good one a few weeks ago...all red and pink and alien planet-looking, but we weren't near the camera. :(

If I was really ambitious, I'd head up toward Gruenstadt and get the dawn coming up over the hills with the turbines atop them.

Yeah, right. Like I'll get up that early in the morning. :)
