Hey all,

First time starting a thread here, I was just really excited to get on and share a still from my first days shooting on my first DVX film "Awake"

I finally got all the components I needed to get my project rolling, I've also included a digital still I took of my editing suite thats now fully operational; from scripting to pre-vis, to production, editing, digital effects, scoring, and finally packaging.

"Awake" sounds like a sweet name for a movie :) Too bad you live on the other side of the world, we should collaborate :grin:
 
YOu have no idea. Check out IMDB and type in awake. I was heartbroken when I first did that, after completing my film.
 
damn, quite a set up you got there! haha. Mine's like that, except I have one PC with a 17 inch flat panel monitor (bigger would be fun), a 29 inch sony vega flat screen tv nearby, and then my guitar and keyboard behind me. Not put together as nicely as yours though.

and that grab looks really good.
 
I bought Scharky's Awake and loved it. I have showed to some people to show what a good director and crew can do with a DVX.

Thanks for the kind words and encouragement.

I looked up imdb too scharky, its a cool name that has subtext which is why I chose it, I checked out those films and figured that none of em had the same premise as mine so screw it.

and to Freudenberg films :grin: you aint getting any plot details til you see the trailer in a few weeks! Geez, get a grip im flying up at the start of feb.

Had to try bro but surely you can give everyone a sneak peak into AWAKE?

After seeing your setup again i went out and bought another desk and some monitor speakers to plug into my mixer. As soon as I clean up my studio Ill post mine up also. But for now heres a screen grab of my set up before adding another desk ..... Enjoy.....

Well here it is. All cleaned up with new desk and speakers added. I even painted the old 21 inch monitor silver. Now all i need is the DVX or HVX and a 51cm TV and im set....... enjoy the pics oh yeah im also a star wars buff :thumbsup:
