Hi!
I'm going to be doing about seven days of field production, shooting 4-5 hours of two-camera footage per day. Here is the workflow I've come up with; I'm curious if I am missing something obvious:
1. At each "break," each card is write protected...
2. Then mounted on a MacBook Pro laptop using the Duel adapter...
3. And the footage imported using Log and Transfer in FCP 6.0.2...
4. Onto a pair of FW800 disks set as a software RAID-1...
5. In a trayless enclosure, so we can swap to new HDs when required.
6. Upon completion and verification of the footage, the cards are un-write-protected and reformatted in the camera.
Lather, rinse, repeat.
Thanks, in advance, for any advice!
