a piece on aging, nostalgia...

Very good work. You have a very good eye for composition. I have seen some of your other work and I must say you've got something going for yourself.
I've heard you say that you like using mb no. 85. Did you use it for this one? If so how much did you tweak it? Lighting?

Actually, for this I mostly used Color Reversal stock preset. I had to tweak it for some of the darker shots because it really kicks up the gamma and the contrast. For some of the other shots I used the bleach bypass preset.
But, yes the No. 85 preset is one of my favorites!

^same here, was really digin that mirror shot. you had some great hots in there.keep up the good work!

i liked the shots of the older lady. cool colors. how much did you tweak the colors? quite a bit, or hardly any?

good stuff.

Most of the color settings were set in the camera, and then I just upped the saturation and gamma in post with the Color Reversal MB setting. It got the job done.

What kind of lighting did you use? Like when you were in the bedroom and such. Did you tweak the camera colors differently for each scene then?

I just used some standard lights that I think my mother had bought from Ikea. Most of the time I kept the White balance and color settings the same in the camera, and it was the different lighting in the house that had the odd color effects. The light fixture in the bathroom for example was realy orange!

very nice image man, what were your camera settings that u used ???? very nice images again i must say

peace n luv

Mark Dog,
On a hot summer day like today, it is a difficult task to check the camera for the settings used. I do use cinelike V, though! It's my favorite.

I really enjoyed it. Even without the music, it is incredibly evocative. The natural (or at least not "studio" lighting) was really good. I wonder what would happen if TV drama lit like you light. I guess it's the verite filmaker in me that's getting tired of standard key/fill/back lighting.

I could tell most of your camera blurs were in camera (out of focus). Did you do any of the blurs in post?

Very nice and original photography. Refreshing. Also your lighting adds to the depth. Your an artist.
