thank you Mark. Jack will be a guest at Fright Night Film Fest so he can't be in Toronto too...but I have some friends up there who already plan on going.

Kind of a BIG weekend for ALMTF with 2 screenings at the same time!!!
 
arg...just posting cause i am frustrated to not be with Jack at Fright Night or in Toronto...

ok...nuff venting...now to wait and text Jack tomorrow to find out how things are going. UNLESS we get lucky and he posts before i start bugging him!
 
well im certian he isnt asleep..... hes usually the only person up when i am at 6 am....

Sorry, being a participating filmmaker and presenter is taxing. Burning DVD's and getting footage ready, etc. Didn't catch any Zzz's at all last night.

By the way, I won BEST DIRECTOR for 2009 FRIGHT NIGHT FILM FEST.

Mark Johnson and Fat Monster Crew were on hand as presenters and picked up an award from last years fest which never got to them - BEST SCI FI 2008.

It was cool to be here with Fat Monster crew - Mark, Tim, and Luis and share some of their glory from last year as I worked on "O2" as well. Congrats Fat Monster!

Hah. Well short vs. trailer is not really fair.

I've seen the feature, GRACE, twice. Once when it was a Sundance and then again at SXSW and met the director Paul Solet. The feature is really very, very good and Paul was very nice when I met him briefly.

Michele It's "Best Director" just for the fest/convention, not "Director of the Year". I think you saw Linda Blair's "Horror Icon of the Year" award and blended them.
But thanks for the upgrade though :)
 
Well we were at Toronto After Dark simultaneous with Fright Night.
Unawakening and Rekindled are screening at DragonCon this weekend.
There is another fest that I've been notified for about LMTF but it is not yet publicly announced/announcable.
