A little help with my new FD lens adaptor.

hello fellow gh2ers,
I was hoping I could get some help or pointed in the right direction. I just got my fotodiox adaptor in the mail for my old canon lenses, however I have been having trouble with exposure. What settings should I have for say, my C1 setting to make it so my exposure is controlled by my lens? ie. what settings should I change for an adaptor application?
Thanks so much!

I find Aperture-Priority or Manual modes best for all-manual lenses.
Make sure the menu setting "Shoot Without Lens" is set.
The metering won't be so accurate with a "dumb" lens, so make use of AE Lock function when it's convenient to.
Also, when shooting in Manual M mode, you can switch the dial over to movie mode to check the correct "live" exposure, as long as it's not slower than 1/30.

Silly question, but is your FD lens fitted correctly in the FD adapter? (Does the aperture ring work correctly?)
If not, check this thread: http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?259930-cieco7-Canon-FD-to-M43-Adapter-not-locking

Thanks for the reply Geoff!
My aperture ring does work, I tested the lens on the adaptor off the camera body.

I was hoping to make the C1 setting for my adaptor/stills and C2 for adaptor/video, but I guess I don't know how to save a setting? it keeps resetting. Also, how does one shut off that auto gain feature so that the exposure is controlled only be Iris, Shutter and ISO?
